How Dash Authority compares
Same WSLCB permit. Better way to get it.
Every provider below is WSLCB-approved. Same legal permit. The rest of the experience is… not the same.
| Dash Authority | A+ Server | Craft Serving | TIPS | WA Alcohol Training | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $14.95 | $17.99 | $17.00 | $29.00 | $19.95 |
| Format | Online. Built for the phone in your pocket. | Works best on a desktop, then acts surprised you have a phone. | Feels like it was built once and never touched again. | Feels like 2005. | Slow. Generic. Could be any state. |
| Exam retakes | Unlimited. Free. Always. | They mention it. Then you go hunting for the actual policy. | Not listed like they mean it. | Not even clearly stated. | Buried. If it’s there at all. |
| Instant proof | Right in your student dashboard the second you pass. | They email it. Eventually. Then you go find it. | After you finish. Then you go find it. | After you finish. Check your spam. Check again. | After you finish. Good luck locating the link. |
| Best for | You. | People who already know them and still don’t ask why it costs more | People who think “craft” belongs on a beer list, not a 3-hour state course | People who were told this was the only option and never checked | People who don’t mind a course that forgot which state they’re in |
Published course fees from each provider’s public listing. Washington Alcohol Training is Certus. See our full comparison.

What students say
Sick of clunky old certification sites that feel like they’re from 2010. Dash Authority was actually enjoyable—clean design, quick videos, and I finished my alcohol server cert in like 90 minutes on my phone during lunch.

I needed my alcohol certification card fast for a new job. This was by far the smoothest online course I’ve ever taken—no glitches, super intuitive, and the quizzes actually helped me remember the important stuff.
