Dash Authority, L.L.C. (“Dash Authority,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) welcomes you to our website (dashauthority.com) and online food handler, food manager, and alcohol server certification courses (collectively, the “Services”).

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. User Accounts

Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized access.

3. Course Access & Licenses

Upon purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and complete the course solely for your personal certification needs. Access is typically available for 60 days from purchase (or until completion, whichever is longer). Course content may not be downloaded, copied, shared, or used for any commercial or group purpose without our prior written consent.

4. Certifications & Compliance

Successful completion and passing the final assessment results in an instant digital certificate. Certificates verify completion of state-approved training only. They do not guarantee employment, licensure, or acceptance by every employer or agency. You are solely responsible for confirming that our course meets your specific state, local, or employer requirements.

5. Payments, Billing & Refunds

All payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full payment card details.
Refund Policy: Full refunds are available within 7 days of purchase only if you have not started the course or accessed any lessons. No refunds are issued once you begin a course or after a certificate is issued. Some states provide additional consumer protections.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, quizzes, designs, logos, and content are owned by Dash Authority or our licensors and protected by U.S. copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

7. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Share account credentials
  • Cheat, use unauthorized aids, or manipulate assessments
  • Resell, redistribute, or publicly display course content
  • Upload viruses, spam, or harmful material
  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to harass others

8. Pass Guarantee

We stand behind our courses with a 100% pass guarantee on retakes (subject to our retake limits and course-specific rules). Additional attempts are provided at no extra charge if you do not pass on the first try.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that they will satisfy every state requirement in every jurisdiction.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dash Authority shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Dash Authority harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, notified by email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

15. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dash Authority. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
