Are Dash Authority courses state-approved?
We offer alcohol server and seller training for six states:
- Washington: MAST Class 12/13, approved by the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board.
- South Carolina: approved by the SC Department of Revenue, in English and Spanish.
- Utah: E.A.S.Y. off-premise training, approved by the Utah Division of Substance Use and Mental Health.
- Florida, Georgia and Ohio.
Florida, Georgia and Ohio do not require alcohol server training statewide, so those courses are voluntary. Some employers and local governments may still ask for training, so check with yours. Each course covers only its own state. We do not offer food handler or food manager courses.
How long does it take to complete?
It depends on the state. Washington MAST requires at least 3 hours of training and South Carolina at least 4. Our other courses take about 2–3 hours. Everything is self-paced, so you can stop and pick up again anytime within your 6-month access period.
Is it really mobile-friendly?

When do I get my certificate?
Your proof of completion is in your account the moment you pass. Official credentials depend on the state:
- Washington: we report you to the LCB and mail your Class 12 or 13 permit within 30 days.
- South Carolina: we report you to SCDOR, and you download your certificate from MyDORWAY, usually within two weeks.
- Utah: we report your completion to the state.
- Florida, Georgia and Ohio: your Dash Authority certificate of completion is your record of training.
